Decades of Successful Charter Bus Transportation
National Motor Coach is a strong believer in supporting our community. We employ local staff and we purchase fuel, tires, oil and mechanical services locally. National Motor Coach supports many local clubs and charities. We are a major transportation sponsor for The Alberta International Band Festival, Tim Horton’s Brier in Kamloops and we are the official transportation supplier for both the Alberta Summer and Winter Games, moving thousands of athletes throughout the province.
Our Timeline
National Motor Coach has enjoyed decades of successful transportation services. Over the years, we’ve been honoured to help keep Canada moving. Some of our business milestones include:
2010 – 2016 Alberta Winter and Summer Games
National Motor Coach has provided transportation for both Alberta Summer and Winter Games respectively for both the youth and senior games. In 2015 we celebrated a successful 55+ Winter Games in February in Lethbridge and the Summer Games in Strathmore in July. We are looking forward to the youth being highlighted in both the Winter Games (February in Medicine Hat) and Summer Games (July in Leduc) respectively.
2015 Highlights
November 2015: Partner in transportation for numerous high school groups attending the Vic Lewis Band Festival in Canmore
October 2015: Official transportation provider for over 450 visitors of the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) National Conference.
Fall/Winter 2015: Have recently transported some visiting NHL hockey teams and their media to games and practices against both the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.
2014
March 2014: We are the official sponsor and transportation provider for the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier in Kamloops, British Columbia.
February 2014: We are the official sponsor and transportation provider for the Alberta Winter Games held in Canmore/Banff.
2013
November 2013: National Women’s Under-18 Hockey Championship
October 2013: U14 Boys and Girls National Soccer Championship
May 2013: We coordinated and provided the transportation for the Canada-Wide Science Fair held in Lethbridge, Alberta.
2012
March 2012: We coordinated and provided the transportation for the Ford World Women’s Curling Championship held in Lethbridge.
March 2012: We coordinated and provided the transportation for the 2012 Oldtimers Hockey Challenge Classic, transporting players throughout Western Canada.
February 2012: National Motor Coach successfully coordinated and supplied the transportation for the Alberta Winter Games.
2011
July 2011: National Motor Coach was the official transportation provider for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Alberta.
March 2011: National Motor Coach was the official transportation supplier for the Intergovernmental Development Bank conference held in Calgary. The conference was attended by 74 heads of state, finance ministers, and more than 3,000 delegates.
2010
July 2010: We coordinated and supplied 52 coaches for the 2010 Alberta Summer Games in Peace River, Alberta.
February 2010: National Motor Coach coordinated and supplied 47 coaches for the 2010 Alberta Winter Games in Bonneville/Cold Lake, AB.
Simply the Best Transportation Provider
National Motor Coach Systems is proud to be the transportation provider of choice for several organizations and affiliations in Alberta and throughout Canada.
Official transportation partner for the University of Calgary Dinos and University of Alberta (Bears and Pandas) Athletics, in addition to many other students, guests, and staff of other faculties.
National Motor Coach has been the preferred bus transportation for the Lethbridge Athletic Association (now the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association) for the past 14 years, which includes a sponsorship package.
National Motor Coach is the preferred transportation company of the University of Calgary, St. Mary’s University College, Olds College, MacEwan University and the Grande Prairie Regional College.
We provide scheduled transportation for major airline crews daily, transferring their crews to and from the airport and local hotels.
National Motor Coach worked extensively with the R.C.M.P. VIP office and protocol offices of federal, provincial and various foreign governments to provide high profile security transportation plans. We have participated in more than 80 motorcades and assisted with the transportation requests of various heads of state, including Queen Elizabeth, King Hussein of Jordan, President Gorbachev, heads of state from Czechoslovakia, China, Mexico and Peru just to name a few.
National Motor Coach has various Asia-based contractors, including one with the Japan Tourist Bureau and Jalpak, requiring an exceptionally high level of service, flexibility and client satisfaction. We have maintained these contracts under strict guidelines thanks to our attention to detail and our mandate for utmost customer service.
We have been a major sponsor of the Alberta International Band Festival for more than 20 years and a strong supporter of local clubs and charities.
Over the past 18 months, we have provided over 6,500 trips to various groups. All buses can have mechanical issues and can break down from time to time. National Motor Coach, however, has a large fleet of buses as well as a number of partner companies that we can lean on in a time of crisis, in order to get a timely solution for your group's needs should one of those vehicle hiccups occur.
